New Website: Imperial Video Productions @VinnyMinton

I helped Vinny from Imperial Video Productions with a handful of his weddings last year and he's easily become the biggest influencers and mentors for me with my own video production. Last year was a great start to get our feet wet in the industry but 2011 is definitely the year to start making a name for ourselves.

Imperial had 3 domains that had great SEO value but poor redirection and design on some of them. Only one domain had useful information for prospective clients to find any of his information and/or videos. I consolidated all three of his domains into one central domain with 301 redirects and gave his website a cosmetic lift. His traffic for this one central website increased twofold having the new redirects in place. According to his Vimeo stats, he got a 5,000+ view increase on his wedding videos alone ever since we fixed his website issues.

Vinny is one of the most talented wedding videographers in the game right now (he used to be a professional skater) and I look forward to helping him this upcoming wedding season!

Here are some videos to give you a sense of what he does:

New Website Launch: Chris & Marie's Wedding Website

Just in time before they embark on their journey of love at the end of this month, I just launched their event website here. These types of websites are provided for clients of my company, MotionScope Studies. Check out our work!

New Website Launch: HU Designs

Just completed a new website for Mark Medina who runs hudesigns.net with his partner Andronico. They together make some awesome graphic work that has both style and substance. Take a look at their brand new website

New Website Launch: Ryan Frias (www.ryanfrias.com)

Just launched the website of a friend who's an audio engineer based in the Bay Area. He provides audio services and works both locally and remotely. I'm biased because he's my friend, but he has some excellent audio work. Check out his website and look through his portfolio at www.ryanfrias.com.

Ryan Frias / J-Ricz Website Previews

With all the work that's been going on with MotionScope videos, school finals, and working for Weebly, I still managed to churn out two websites this month.

The first is for a friend who's an audio engineer based in the Bay Area and provides awesome audio production services. Check him out at his current website. My re-design should be rolled out within the next few days.

The next website is for a very talented artist named J-Ricz who was part of the Bay Area R&B group "Next Phaze". My business partner JJ actually referred me to him and I'm excited to launch his website before the month's over.

After these two are done I'll be available for freelance work again. Please direct all inquiries to brownday@gmail.com. Thanks!

Edgardo & Gabriela Wedding Website

One thing that I'm proud to offer with MotionScope Studies is the ability for clients to share their memories before and after the actual event. We do this by creating a fully customized event website with their own .com. For instance, our first client to utilize this is Edgardo and Gaby, whose website looks very clean and simple yet is packed with a love story, engagement session page, a slideshow, contact form, and even a unique favicon.

Gaby actually posted her link on her Facebook profile page for the first time for her friends and family to see yesterday and unique visitors shot up to 163 (which is pretty good considering their wedding is next week).

Stats aside, she got status update comments with words like, "that is SO sweet...i loved reading about how you met and the proposal...i got a bit choked up. i'm so happy for the two of you." and "Oh my! Hold it together Richard...LOL...Me too though ...I ALMOST shed a tear...Cute! How come Ga has more baby pictures? That part right there almost made me cry. LOVE YOU LOTS! "

Definitely makes making this website worth it!
