Some Indian food to spice up studying

So Paul and I were killing ourselves at the SFSU "library" and decided to take a break. Randomly I thought of a place called "Tandoori" that just opened in Westlake Shopping Center which was a short drive from campus. There aren't a lot of Indian options around Daly City so I was hoping this would be the first good one to pop up.

Upon entering the decor definitely fit the bill of an Indian bistro. The paintings on the wall were a nice touch.

I don't know if this applies for all college students, but they have a special where if you order one dinner item you get the other one of equal or lesser value for only 2 dollars. With dinner plates costing an average of 11-12 dollars that's a bargain for all you frugal students. They're also in the process of obtaining their alcohol license for all you alcoholic students. Paul ordered the lamb special and I got the shrimp curry dish. Let the food photos barrage ensue:

To sum it up, the food and service was good enough to warrant it a go-to spot in my books. The dishes weren't overly spicy and the portions were just right. If you're a local, do take some time to try it out! Ok, back to studying.

Eating In Is In

Decided I'd try to eat in and cook more compared to eating out so I thought I'd take a stab at making stir fry. Being wok-less and possessing no cooking skill whatsoever, the results were pretty tasty! If it gets the attention of Doby my dog then I know I've done a decent cooking job (with the help of Britt of course!)

Last Meal Before I Return To Reality

Thanksgiving break ended way too fast. Britt and I decided to get some subs and soak in the chilly SF air atop a mountain overlooking the bay. Time to finish these last 3 weeks of school strong!
