A few days ago we shot a 2-day shoot for my our friend Andrew aka DTA for his single "Leave Yo Numba" featuring Miss Arnelle. This was our first real production music video shoot with different locations and extras. Francis and I shared the duties of Director and Producer with our newest MotionScope Studies addition John, who has helped me in the past when I first started shooting video for events. John did an excellent job getting some awesome behind the scenes photos and videos (with his iPhone 4!) along with helping out as a production assistant. 

One of the scenes was shot at the 7 Mile House Sports Bar & Grill in Brisbane. The workers there were extremely helpful and were even getting into the music as we shot!

One of the most crucial scenes of the video is when DTA wins over the girl at the bar and finally gets her number. Pictured above is me directing the main video girl, Jennifer.

The dancing scene was great and I even had a little cameo myself!

We finished up Day 1 at SF State (where the Team USA Track & Field Olympic team happened to be practicing, check out their truck in the BTS video) and took a group shot before we all left. We had a great shot where Andrew and Jennifer were walking through campus and the extras (including myself) filled in the scene as college students. It looked flawless and Francis and Andrew did a great job with the continuous shot!

We finished the day off at the Legion of Honor where we tried to make it look so much like a Wedding engagement shoot (hey, it's what I'm used to, ok!?) The final result was some really good footage.

Needless to say, we're all excited for the outcome of this video! A big thanks to everyone who helped out during the shoot! We really appreciate it and hope you guys had as much fun as we did!
